Donate Your Expired Coupons To Military Families

When coupons expire, it can be bittersweet.  You think of the deals that could have been, or the sale items long forgotten.  But remember:  sales and coupons come back.  So instead of lamenting, why not do some good and donate your expired coupons to military families overseas?

The commissary stores that military families shop at will accept manufacturer coupons up to 6 months after they have expired.  Since there is travel time involved, please do not send coupons that over 30 days expired.  Also, commissaries will NOT accept store-specific coupons (Target, etc.), so keep that in mind when looking at what to send.  In addition, coupons must be divided into "food" and "non-food".
