Moneymaker Target Mini Haul!

I had a great shopping trip at Target today.  There were three different gift card promotions going on.  I was able to get $34.92 worth of products, and I made $4.35.  It would have been less except that the cashier felt bad that I kept letting people go in front of me (people don't always like being behind couponers!), so she gave me an additional coupon.  This is one good example of how kindness to store staff can pay off.  Check out the breakdown below to see how it was done.

Transaction #1:
Bought 3 Colgate toothpastes for $2.99 each (buy 3, get a $5 gift card)
Used 3 $2/1 MQs, and 1 $1.50 Target coupon
Paid $1.47 (includes tax), received $5 gift card

Transaction #2:
Bought 3 Tresemme hair treatments for $3.99 (buy 3, get a $5 gift card)
Used 3 $2/1 MQs, 1 $4 off Target coupon from the cashier, and $5 gift card from transaction #1
Received $2.80 back on first gift card, received $5 gift card

Transaction #3:
Bought 2 Playtex Sport at $6.99 each (buy 2, get a $5 gift card)
Used 2 $3/1 MQs, and 1 $1.50/2 Target coupon, and gift cards from previous transactions
Received $0.82 back on previous gift card, received a $5 gift card

In total I paid $1.37 out of pocket, and walked out with a gift card balance $5.82.  That's a total of $34.92 worth of products for free, and I made $4.35!
