Another Week, Another Target Haul

Things have been so crazy lately! Between the couponing classes, my full-time job, and other commitments, I feel as though my personal couponing time is becoming more and more limited.  I am generally very thorough in my shopping trip planning, ensuring that I am maximizing my savings in every way possible and that I have every coupon that I may need.

This week I needed to go to Target desperately for some non-coupon items, but I thought I would bring my binder along just in case.  I wandered around the aisles for a while and was able to come up with a money maker transaction that I completed before my regular non-coupon items transaction (okay, so I did use a few coupons during that transaction also).  While I did not save as much as I could have (I was missing a few coupons that could have helped), I was able to get nearly $47 worth of product.  I paid $7.44 out of pocket and received $25 in Target gift cards back.  I did not have time to take a photo of my haul, but I will provide a breakdown anyways.

Purchased:

2 Suave hair care products for $2.84 each
1 Suave body wash for $2.84
3 Tresemme hair sprays for $3.84 each (buy 3, get a $5 gift card)
4 Axe deodorants for $3.99 each (buy 4, get a $5 gift card)
1 Simple eye makeup remover wipes for $4.99
1 People magazine for $5.99 (buy 1 People magazine and 1 Simple product, get a $5 gift card)

Total before coupons and tax: $46.98

Used the Following Coupons:

1 spend $40 on select Unilever products, get a $5 gift card Target coupon
2 $1.50/1 Suave manufacturer coupons
1 buy 2 Suave hair care products, get a Suave body wash free manufacturer coupon
1 $5/2 Tresemme hair care manufacturer coupon
2 $2/1 Axe deodorant manufacturer coupon
1 $3/2 Axe deodorant manufacturer coupon
1 $2/1 Simple skin care manufacturer coupon
1 $1/1 People magazine manufacturer coupon
10% off People magazine Cartwheel offer
$20 in gift cards from previous Target trip

Paid $7.44 (that includes tax), received $25 in Target gift cards.  This trip was a $17.56 money maker.  If I did not have the gift cards from last week's haul, I would have paid $27.44, making each product $0.20 after receiving all of the new gift cards.  Not bad!
