88% Savings at CVS!

Sometimes as an extreme couponer, I get itchy if a shopping trip is not a moneymaker.  This week there were not too many deals that I was excited about at CVS, but I had a couple of email coupons that were about to expire.  But I also needed a couple of things that I did not have many coupons for, and I also encountered the dreaded low stock problem.  However, I was still able to get $67.81 worth of stuff for only $8.25. That's an 88% savings! See how I did it below.

Transaction #1

Bought 2 Aveeno lotions 2.5 oz for $3.50 each (marked down from $3.79)
Bought 1 Aveeno lotion 8 oz for $7.79 (buy 3 Aveeno products, get $8 ECB)
Bought 2 Crest mouthwashes for $3.99 each (buy 1, receive $3 ECB - limit 2)

Used:
1 $5/15 purchase CVS email coupon
1 $1/2 Aveeno CVS coupon
1 $1/1 Aveeno manufacturer coupon
2 $1/1 Crest manufacturer coupons
$5 ECB from Beauty Club
$5 ECB from previous trip

Paid $3.28, received $14 in ECB

Transaction #2

Bought 1 Revlon eyeshadow pallet for $9.99 (spend $10 on Revlon, get $3 ECB)
Bought 1 Physician's Formula eyeliner collection for $11.49 (spend $10 on Physician's Formula, get $6 ECB)

Used:
1 $4/20 beauty purchase CVS email coupon
$14 in ECB from transaction #1

Paid $3.48, received $9 in ECB

Transaction #3

Bought 2 Nature's Bounty vitamins for 11.49 each (buy 1, get 1 free)

Used:
1 $1/$5 vitamin purchase CVS coupon
$9 in ECB from transaction #2

Paid $1.49

So all in all I paid $8.25 out of pocket for nearly $68 worth of stuff! While I always aim for 100% savings or higher, 88% is definitely still great!
