I haven't been to CVS in a couple of weeks, but decided to get over there quick today when I realized that I had $10 in ECB that were about to expire. This was not a money maker or free trip since I needed to get a few things that I did not have coupons for. However, I was still able to save 83% on what I did get. See a breakdown below.
Transaction #1
Bought:
-3 Aveeno shave gels for $4.79 each (buy any 3 Aveeno products, get $10 ECB)
Used:
-3 $1/1 Aveeno manufacturer coupons
-$10 in ECB from previous trip
Paid $1.37, received $10 ECB
Transaction #2
Bought:
-2 Revlon eye liners for $7.79 each
-2 Revlon mascaras for $7.79 each ($.070 off, spend $10 on Revlon, get $3 ECB)
Used:
-2 B1G1 Revlon manufacturer coupons
-$10 in ECB from Transaction #1
Paid $5.58, received $9 in ECB
Transaction #3
Bought:
-1 Physician's Formula eye liner for $9.99 (spend $10 on Physician's Formula, get $7 ECB)
Used:
-$9 in ECB from Transaction #2
Paid $0.99, received $7 in ECB
Transaction #4
Bought:
-2 Nature's Bounty Evening Primrose Oil for $11.49 each (buy 1, get 1 free)
-2 Suave Moroccan Lotion for $3.69 each (buy 1, get 1 50% off)
Used:
-2 $2/1 Suave manufacturer coupons
-$7 in ECB from Transaction #3
Paid $6.02
So all in all, I got $87.28 for a total of $14.74. That is an 83% savings!! Not too bad :)
